Хата із с. Сімерки, Перечинського району, Закарпатської області

Збудована наприкінці ХІХ ст. Останній власник житла – Іван Рогулич - житель села Сімерки. Хата – характерний зразок народного житла лемків, поширений переважно в басейнах річок Тур'ї, Латориці, Ужа.
Будівля дводільна: сіни і хата. В хаті зліва від входу велика глинобитна піч, повернута челюстями до причілкової стіни, що характерно тільки для лемків, на відміну від типового в Україні розміщення печі, коли її отвір звернений до фасадної стіни. Сіни будівлі рублені з колод листяних порід (бук, вільха, осика), обмазані та побілені, крім випусків вінців, що є типовою рисою лемківських хат. Стріха крита соломою.
Площа споруди – 54,5 кв.м.


The house from Simerky village in Pecherynskyi district of Zakarpatska Region

This house was build at the end of 19th Century. Its last owner was Ivan Rogulych of Simerky village. The house is a sample of lemky’s national dwelling, especially widespread in the watersheds of Turja, Latorytsia and Uzh rivers
The house comprises of two rooms: a mudroom and home itself. A big earthen stove is located to the left from the entrance with its jaws turned to the side wall of the house; this is very typical of lemkys. On the contrary, in other areas of Ukraine the stove was located with its hole turned to a façade. Walls of this log house are made of hardwood timbers (beech, alder, asp), covered by clay and painted in white, except for tips of the crown. This is very typical of lemky’s houses. The roof is covered by straw.
The area of the building is 54.5 square meters.
