Традиційне сошне житло з розвиненим плануванням хати на дві половини через сіни, у правій половині – відділена хатина – ванькір. Долівка мащена. Стіни та стелі мащені й білені.
У сінях – великий «бовдур»-комин, зведений кошем на двох поздовжніх балках.
В хаті відтворено традиційне настінне малювання глинами, рослинними барвниками, сажею, синькою: «хмелеки» на сволоках, вінок на стелі, квітки на стінах, пташки над вікнами, підводки з клинцями на печі та напільній стіні ззовні.
Особливістю цієї хати є те, що вона прибрана до весілля – святково: на покуті стоїть дідух, мальована скриня з посагом молодої, вбрання молодих, весільні рушники. На столі представлено традиційна весільна атрибутика: коровай «вбраний», шишки, голуби, борона та гільце прибране квітами, стрічками.
Огорожа в садибі із тесаних каменів. Обробка граніту, що виходить на поверхню у цьому районі започаткувала кам’янотесний промисел в 19ст.
Комора кін.19 ст., з села Молодецьке Маньківського району Черкаської області.
Одноповерхова, однодільна, з піддашком на випусках верхніх вінців. підвалин. Стеля поперечна, з дубових дощок, що спираються на поздовжні сволоки і закладені в пази зрубу. Комора має поперечні засіки для зерна і врубану у стіни поздовжню жердку для верхнього одягу.

A house from Old Babany village in Umanskyi district of Cherkasska Region, the end of 19th Century
This is a traditional wattle-and-daub dwelling divided into halves, detached by a mudroom. Right half has also a separate cottage – vankir. Its floors are covered by clay, its walls and ceilings are clayed and white-washed.
In mudroom there is a large bovdur – chimney, constructed on two longitudinal beams.
The house demonstrates traditional wall painting by clays, plant dyes, soot, and bluing: hops on ceiling beams, a wreath on the ceiling, flowers on the walls, and birds above the windows, ripple patterns on the stove and on external part of front wall.
This house is decorated for traditional wedding. There is a didukh (sacral talisman made of the first sheaf of the harvest), painted trunk box with the bride’s dower, the bride’s and groom’s attire, embroidered wedding towels. Traditional wedding accessories stay also on the table: traditionally decorated wedding bread korovaj, pinecones, doves, a harrow and a traditional wedding attribute giltse – a twig, decorated with flowers and strips.
The farmstead’s fence is made of ashlars. The processing of granite that comes close to the ground in this district stared stone-processing crafts of 19th Century.
A storeroom from Molodetske village in Mankivskyi district of Cherkasska Region, the end of 19th Century
This is a single-storied, single-roomed building with an awning on the tips of upper walls. It has a transverse ceiling made of oak-tree boards, supported by longitudinal beams, fixed in intersections of the logs. The storeroom has transverse hoppers and a longitudinal rail for garments, fixed to walls.
