На виставці представлені клавішні та автоматично запрограмовані музичні інструменти кінця ХІХ – середини ХХ ст.
Колекція музичних інструментів НМНАПУ була сформована науковими співробітниками музею протягом 2-ї пол. ХХ ст. У фондовій колекції наявні інструменти, які презентують різні регіони України. Значний внесок у формування, систематизацію та науковий опис цієї групи інструментів вніс Ігор Шрамко, відомий дослідник музичних інструментів та завідувач сектору музичних інструментів відділу фондів НМНАПУ у 70-80-хх роках ХХ століття.
Виставка знайомить відвідувачів з клавішними та автоматично запрограмованими музичними інструментами кінця ХІХ – середини ХХ ст., їхнім виглядом, конструкцією, прийомами гри. Окрема увага приділена висвітленню особливостей відтворення мелодій та звучанню цих інструментів.
Унікальні експонати музейної колекції розкривають яскраві сторінки історії музичної культури українського народу.
Усі інструменти експонуються вперше.

Keyed and automatically programmed musical instruments the end of the XIX – the mid – XX century

The exhibition presents keyed and automatically programmed musical instruments from the late XIX and mid-XX century.
The collection of musical instruments of NMFALU was formed by scientists of the museum during the second half of the XX century. Instruments from the museum collection represent various regions of Ukraine. Significant contribution to the formation, systematization and scientific description of this group of instruments was made by Igor Shramko, a well-known researcher in musical instruments and the head of the musical instruments sector of the NMFALU Fund Department in the 70-80s of the XX century.
The exhibition introduces visitors with keyed and automatically programmed musical instruments from the end of the XIX - the mid-XX century, their appearance, design and musical techniques. Particular attention is paid to highlighting the peculiarities of playing melodies and sounding of these instruments.
Unique exhibits of the museum's collection reveal bright pages of the musical culture history of the Ukrainian people.
